Katarina Heigl, who is based in the surroundings of artistic Vienna, found a way to express herself through painting just over 20 years ago. Each of her paintings is inspired by nature, feelings and of personal life experiences. She was born in 1977 in Slovakia and came as a refugee child to Austria. Today she lives happily in a dynamic patchwork family. Both her past and present are expressed in the atmosphere of her paintings.
